Re; pay stubs So if we can't pick then up, like while on vacation. Why can't the stubs be mailed to us if not picked up? Thank you for the question. There are many, many paystubs that do not get picked up at all and it leads to great waste in printing the stub, putting it in a sealed envelope and then having to just shred the document if it doesn't get picked up. It would be quite costly to mail them all out each week as well.

Can you tell us how many doctors notes we are allowed each year to change chargeable to non chargeable absences? I could not find that in the offer. Also,will the uniform vouchers only be accepted by the current supplier? Last time I checked with them, they did not offer shoes or white t shirts that we are required to wear. Please refer to Article 31 - Attendance, Section 2 B, if I'm understanding your question correctly. We would like to have further dialog with your exclusive bargaining unit on the particulars of the Uniform Allowance voucher system. If we are only getting vouchers for uniforms, you know we are all going to use them all up every year out of spite. Therefore the only way this is a a cost saving measure for the company is if you get a kick back from the supplier. Where does that money go? Whose pocket does it line?

This agreement was negotiated with OUR ATU NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE, OUR UNION....no one is punishing anybody It talks like a duck , it must be a duck . What's wrong with the current sick time practices. Why do you make things more complicated

Calling out sick just to abuse it is ridiculous it is a benefit that we get for time of need, like when we are sick. And no I'm not new I have been here for longer than you will ever dream of being, I have been affiliated with two different unions my whole life and for this union to not have a strike fund is unacceptable. These guys are criminals to say the least. When we are not being paid they will get there big checks, fat ass will go on a cruise and the monopoly man will bolt north,and the other two will be dropped off at daycare. You dumb asses on here wouldn't know a good deal if you tried. You most are an embarrassment to say I work with and in public I never would. Lifenut you are the only honest person on here thank you. I really dont understand why the union is worried about 25 drivers who want paper checks if u have driect deposit theres no change im voting yes. Kritina my question for u is why the threat of taking away .5 percent if we dont sign.

As far as the uniform voucher goes doesn't that eliminate all other vendors who might have better quality stuff and what if we don't need uniforms but need shoes or a belt ? I buy good quality stuff that last and are comfortable. What kind of guarantee do we get that the company vendor will have the same? For this reason I am against the voucher system
